==== Current status ====

The ATNF Pulsar DFB related stuff are in this page. Currently supported are the timing and search modes. The baseband mode is not operational due to a firmware issue and is being discussed with ATNF.

==== DSPSR and Search mode data ====

DSPSR/PSRCHIVE can be used to fold and dedisperse search mode data from the DFB. Here is a short recipe:

  * Copy data to pulsar server.
  * Fold: dspsr -N 2021 -k Effelsberg -L 10 Srch_file.fits
     In the above, -L is to create 10-second sub-ints, -N is the name of pulsar, -k is TEMPO site information.

  * Once this is done, add all 10-sec subints: psradd -f add.ar 2010*.ar
  * Now plot and view:

     freq-phase plots: pav -GTp -d add.ar
     
     time-phase plots: pav -YFp add.ar
